About the project
A portfolio website for French musician Mathieu Garguillo, focused on combining a personal feel with a clean, simple design.
Mathieu wanted something that felt personal, but not too experimental—something that reflects him without going over the top.
Since his photos already had a strong and consistent color palette, I built the design around that, using dark red tones with subtle yellow accents to match and enhance his visual identity.
The result shows how far you can get with good images and well-chosen colors working together—keeping everything minimal, but still distinctive.
The site includes an admin dashboard as well, so he can easily manage his bio, media, and events on his own without needing any help from me.
